SlfMind is a personal journal with belief tracking. This page explains what data is collected, where it's stored, and how to manage it.

What stays only on your device

The content of your journal (entries, notes), your personal tasks, and your affirmations are never sent to our servers to be stored. They are encrypted (AES-256) and kept only on your device, with an encryption key unique to that device. If you uninstall the app or switch devices without exporting your data first, it is lost — we keep no copy of it.

You can export or import this data at any time from Settings → Data.

What's stored on our servers

  • Your email, used for account authentication.
  • Your profile preferences (first name, chosen tone, accent color, reminder settings).
  • Your tracked beliefs (label, evolution, associated tasks) — this is what lets your progress follow you if you change devices.
  • Your subscription status, synced from Apple/Google via our payment provider.
  • Your consent to receive announcement emails from us — optional, unchecked by default, changeable anytime in settings. Never shared with a third party.

AI processing

When you save a journal entry, its text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for the duration of processing, to extract the beliefs that emerge from it and generate your portrait. This text passes through our servers but is never stored or logged there — only the result (the extracted beliefs) is kept, in your account.

Subprocessors

  • Supabase — account and database hosting.
  • OpenAI — processing of journal text as described above.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management and syncing of Apple/Google purchases.

We don't embed any advertising tool or third-party analytics tracker in the app.

Security

Local data is encrypted at rest (AES-256). Communications with our servers go over HTTPS. Access to your pro (subscription) status can never be changed directly by the app — only our server, after purchase confirmation from Apple/Google, can grant it.

Your rights

You can export your local data at any time, or permanently delete your account (server and local data) from Settings → User settings → Delete my account. This action is irreversible.

For any other question or request about your data, write to us at yandigitalarca@gmail.com.
