Account Deletion
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This page explains how to request the deletion of your SlfMind account and its associated data, with or without access to the app.
From the app (immediate)
Open SlfMind, go to Settings → User settings, then tap Delete my account and confirm. The account and all associated server-side data are deleted immediately — this action is irreversible.
Without access to the app
If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, write from the email address associated with your account to yandigitalarca@gmail.com with the subject line "Account deletion". We process the request and confirm deletion within 7 days.
Data deleted
- Your authentication account (email, password).
- Your profile preferences (first name, accent color, reminder settings).
- Your tracked beliefs (label, evolution, associated tasks, quotes extracted from your entries).
- Your subscription status linked to the account.
- The content of your journal stored on your device, if you delete your account from the app (a request made by email has no access to your device and can only erase the server data listed above — uninstall the app to erase local data in that case).
Data retained
- None — the raw text of your journal only passes through our servers for the duration of AI analysis and is never stored there, so there is nothing left to retain after deletion.
- Your subscription purchase history remains held by Apple/Google and our payment provider (RevenueCat), under their own legal and billing obligations — we no longer have access to it once your account is deleted.
- Anonymous technical usage-limiting counters (no exploitable personal data), automatically purged within 24 hours of creation at the latest.
